Brochure mv Turkmenia, Russian Passengership

Morpasflot: ca. 1970 Russia, softcover folding-out, with photos of the ship and deckplan and information. MV Turkmeniya (often spelled Turkmenia) was a Soviet passenger ship that operated mainly in the 1960s and 1970s. She served as a medium-sized liner and cruise ship on routes in Asia and to ports such as Fremantle in Western Australia. Turkmeniya offered simple Soviet-style accommodation and was used both for point-to-point transport and for cruise voyages aimed at foreign tourists. She is generally associated with the Mikhail Kalinin–type series of Soviet passenger ships, which combined liner service with cruising. Like many Soviet passenger vessels, she was withdrawn from service by the end of the Soviet era and is remembered today mostly through photographs and personal recollections. In very good condition
