Netherland Offshore Company: Ca. 1975, softcover, 17 pages, illustrated. The Netherlands Offshore Company (NOC) was founded in 1966 by a group of major Dutch marine contractors.It focused on offshore construction for the emerging oil and gas industry in the North Sea. During the 1970s NOC built up a fleet of crane and pipe‑lay vessels such as Duplus, Orca, Blue Whale, Sea Lion I and Narwhal. These vessels enabled the installation of platforms and pipelines and strengthened the Dutch position in offshore engineering. In 1979 NOC’s assets were taken over by McDermott, ending its existence as an independent company. In very good condition
