Between the Seychelles, just south of the Equator, and Mautitius, is a vast erea of shoals water, where the bottom in places comes within sight of the surface. The Colonial Office wanted to know the thruth about the much-vaunted possibilities of commercial fishing there and sent Dr. Ommanney and a fellow scientist to ascertain.
