Photo-brochure of the ship and her facilities. The SS Statendam III was a luxurious ocean liner of the Holland America Line, completed in 1929 after a prolonged construction and serving primarily on the Rotterdam–New York route until World War II. During the German invasion of the Netherlands in May 1940, the ship was destroyed by fire in Rotterdam and subsequently scrapped later that year. In good condition
